Our Approach

At Golden Quarters, we believe aging should feel natural and dignified, not institutional. Our homes are designed for comfort, privacy, and peace — each shared by no more than three residents who enjoy independence with gentle, reliable support.

Home, Not a Facility

We intentionally keep our homes small and quiet. Instead of long hallways and large dining rooms, residents live in regular, well-kept houses in real neighborhoods. Each person has a private, furnished room and shared access to common spaces that feel like home.

Dignity & Independence

Residents choose their routines. We support daily life — without taking it over. We focus on light, non-medical assistance such as housekeeping, meal preparation, reminders, and transportation scheduling. Medical decisions always stay with residents, families, and their healthcare providers.

Thoughtful Support

Our role is to notice what makes life easier: a tidy kitchen, a warm meal, a ride to the doctor, a friendly face checking in each day. We provide structure where it helps and flexibility where it matters.

FAQs

Q: Are meals and cleaning included?

A: Yes. Every home receives weekly housekeeping.

Tier 2 and Tier 3 residents also receive daily home-cooked meals — while Tier 1 residents can join meal plans if desired.

Q: What makes Golden Quarters different from an assisted living facility?

A: Our homes are small, quiet, and personal — only three residents per home.

We focus on comfort and independence rather than medical care. You’ll have privacy, your own space, and neighbors who feel like family.

Q: Do you provide medical or nursing care?

A: No. We are an independent living model offering light daily assistance (like reminders or household help). Residents continue to use their own doctors and healthcare providers.

Q: Is transportation available?

A: Yes. Each home includes two to four scheduled rides per month depending on tier. Extra rides can be added for a small fee (usually $150–$250 per month).

Q: How are move-ins handled?

A: We help coordinate everything — from packing and moving assistance to setting up your new space. A refundable security deposit (equal to one month’s rent) holds your spot once you’re approved.

Q: Where are your homes located?

A: We currently serve the Metro Atlanta area — including Decatur, Smyrna, Duluth, and McDonough. More homes will open soon across Georgia.

Q: Can family and friends visit?

A: Absolutely. Each home has visiting hours, and families are welcome to share meals or spend time together with advance notice.

Q: How do I get started?

A: Schedule a short tour or phone consultation. We’ll discuss your preferences and find a location that fits.
